About TIMBA TIMLA

Project Description

Timba Timla is a mix of live-action, animation, and CG to present the story in an eye-catching and engaging way, hoping to attract and captivate the audience. The original inspiration for this creation stemmed from a question: "Why do adults eat Chupa Chups will treat them as childish?" Despite being a childhood favorite snack, why did it become unpopular as we grew older? Have we given up something in our lives along the way? In this story, our protagonist, Yi Feng, faces numerous setbacks while pursuing her dream. Along the way, she gives up her childish ideas and the happiness she feels while chasing her dreams, causing her once sought-after goals to lose their meaning and ultimately leaving her without the courage to continue. Losing one's dreams is not the scariest thing; what's truly frightening is losing the courage to feel everything. Therefore, through this story, the hope is to convey to the audience the importance of "feeling and courage" in life.

Our Story

Our story is about a girl called Yi Feng, she is talented in music but there are lots of obstacles for her proceeding her dream, our story is about how she overcomes and makes a balance between life and dream. This may be in a million final-year project stories. To stand out, we decided to use mixed media methods to express our main idea which is to trust yourself. As in live action, there are boundaries to describe the main character and the inner transformation depends on the actor heavily. On the other hand, there is the boundary for animation which is hard to express micro expression. Hence, we decided to use mixed media to present it.
